We’re recruiting for an experienced Skipper for a vessel dedicated to servicing our farms in Orkney and Shetland.

About the role
Our 22m Northern Isles workboat will provide vital support to our Orkney and Shetland Marine farms, assisting with a varied range of tasks including moorings, fish health treatments, net changing, feed supply and distribution. Shifts will consist of two weeks on, two weeks off.

About you
The ideal candidate will have at least five years practical experience within a marine/aquaculture environment, with at least two years operational experience as a Skipper of a similar sized vessel, conducting treatments and carrying out mooring grid maintenance. It is essential that all candidates hold an appropriate COC to operate a CAT 2 workboat up to 60 miles from a safe haven (MCA Master 200gt or RYA equivalent).
