We’re recruiting for senior husbandry staff to support our farm managers in the day to day operation of our marine farms at Lober Rock, Shapinsay and Westerbister in Orkney.

About you
Applicants should have at least one years’ practical salmon farming experience with a specific interest in feeding routines. You should be able to demonstrate competence across a wide range of farming disciplines including fish health monitoring, stock appetite assessment, boat handling skills, feeding system and boat maintenance, whilst also being proactive in health and safety.

Candidates will be Day Skipper qualified (or equivalent) and ambitious enough to pursue a Yacht-Master Coastal. You will have the drive to succeed, a well-developed sense of pride and the ability to inspire others. Strong communication skills are essential and your ability to plan ahead will be matched by close attention to detail and a current driving licence is essential.  You could live and work on Orkney already, or you could be joining our team from further afield; a relocation package is on offer for the right candidate.

The package
