We're recruiting for fish husbandry staff to join our dedicated team at our Shapinsay farm in Orkney.  

Senior husbandry
Salary up to £29k + 1
:3 weekend payments (£4k per annum)
The senior husbandry role is crucial to our success, ensuring the best management of our superior quality salmon including net management, feed management and people development. Your input will be critical to us driving outstanding performance. You will be responsible for leading and managing all of the requirements it takes to maintain our fish health, welfare and stock performance. The senior husbandry role is designed to encourage you to develop your expertise in the disciplines of your role, but also to identify your potential as a future trainee farm manager. 

Experienced husbandry
Salary up to £24k + 1
:3 weekend payments (£4k per annum)
Our husbandry roles are goals-led, highly creative and all about continuous improvement. We’re looking for candidates that are highly experienced and successful salmon farmers with competence in all aspects of husbandry including fish health monitoring, stock appetite assessment, feeding systems, boat handing and maintenance, while being proactive on all aspects of health and safety. You’ll thrive on putting your leadership abilities and husbandry expertise to work to maximise the performance of the marine farm and actively contribute to the ongoing development of the team.

Trainee husbandry staff
Starting salary £18,771 + 1:3 weekend payments (£4k per annum)
We're also seeking candidates who are looking to take their first step in a career in salmon farming; ambitious individuals who are team players, understand the importance of health and safety, and who have high expectations for themselves and of their employer. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be given, however a current driving licence is essential.
