Scottish Sea Farms ‘Heart of the Community’ TrustScottish Sea Farms operates within some of the most beautiful yet remote regions of Scotland and is frequently the major employer within those areas. Most employees live in the locality of our operations; with many having been brought up, settled and working within their local communities. We recognise that success not only depends upon our business competence and investment, but also support from within local communities which allows us to grow and develop. The broad aim of the ‘Heart of the Community’ Trust is to provide financial grants for community projects that deliver lasting change within the regions in which the Company operates. Those regions being: Shetland, Orkney, Highland, Argyll and Dumfries Click here to see Awards made by the Heart of the Community The over-arching principle for grant allocation will be to deliver lasting change within communities using the following criteria: - Health and health promotion Applications for support are encouraged all year round and will be reviewed quarterly after the following submission dates each year: 28th February, 28th May, 28th August and 28th November. Award decisions will be made and announced on 28th March, June, September and December respectively. Factors for consideration will include: - An identified and supported need within the community
