We are absolutely focused on quality control and product security at Scottish Sea Farms, and our vertically integrated operating systems allow us to offer complete product traceability and full product assurance to customers.

Egg to farm

We operate three hatcheries, three loch-based smolt operations and 37 marine farms off Shetland and the west coast of Scotland, producing approximately 22,000 tonnes of salmon each year.

Wellboat safe transport

Scottish Sea Farms has led the way in Scotland by offering live fish wellboat transportation prior to harvesting to ensure quality and reliability of supply.

Packing and processing

Our two packing stations, one in Shetland and the other on the Scottish west coast, operate to the highest quality standards for food handling and safety, and are regularly inspected by external auditors.
