Scottish Sea Farms Supports National Swimathon 2007

Scottish Sea Farms entered the National 2007 Swimathon event on Sunday 25th March 2007 at the Scalloway pool to support the Marie Curie charity - each team swam 5Km.

The Scottish Sea Farms team comprised of Kenny Grant, Douglas Williamson, Robert Sales, James MacDonald, Robbie Coutts, David Brown and Olav Andreas Ervik - all were sponsored for £1450 by SSF.

The childrens team - which were sponsored by Skretting, Biomar, Malakoff, Ocean Kinetics, Thulecraft, Gael Force, H.Williamson & Sons, L&M Engineering, HNP Engineers, LHD, Akva Group, Phil Braun to the sum of £1450 - comprised of Sophie Grant, Rachel MacDonald, Sarah MacDonald, Lauren Fraser, Sarah Williamson and Leann Sales.

A special thanks goes to Kenny Grant (Selivoe Farm Manager) who arranged the event and to all our external sponsors for supporting the event so magnificently.

We are delighted to confirm that the teams raised £2900 in total for the Marie Curie charity.
