Scottish Sea Farms acquires KLD

A vitally important salmon smolt business that supplies Scotland’s salmon farming industry with salmon smolts has been saved from the threat of closure after being bought from administration by one of Scotland’s leading salmon farming businesses, Scottish Sea Farms.

The acquisition secures the future of Kinloch Damph, Scotland’s largest independent smolt producer and a key player in Scotland’s salmon farming industry. Kinloch Damph also makes an equally vital contribution to Kishorn, Wester Ross, where it supports 20 highly skilled jobs and injects millions of pounds annually into the local economy.
